Terms of service

These terms govern your use of sidereal.chat, operated by Wishcoin Media. Using the service means you accept them.

What the service is

sidereal.chat computes a sidereal (Vedic) astrological chart from birth details you supply, using the JPL DE440s ephemeris and the official Lahiri ayanāṁśa, and generates written interpretations of it with a language model. You can then ask questions about your chart and receive written answers.

What it is not

Astrological interpretation is not advice, and it is not fact. Readings are offered for reflection and interest. They are not, and must not be treated as, medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice of any kind.

The service refuses, by design, to predict death or lifespan, to diagnose illness or forecast disease, to forecast pregnancy outcomes or the sex of a child, to issue verdicts on whether to marry or separate, or to prescribe gemstones, yantras or other purchasable remedies. These refusals are enforced in the software and are not negotiable.

If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional or a crisis line rather than to this service. If a message suggests you are in distress, we will set the chart aside and give you crisis resources, and we will not try to sell you anything.

Do not make consequential decisions on the basis of a reading. Decisions about your health, your relationships, your money or your career are yours, and you take them at your own risk.

Accuracy

Astronomical positions are computed to a high standard, and we validate them against reference charts. Interpretations are generated by a language model and can be wrong, inconsistent between readings, or simply unconvincing. We make no warranty that any interpretation is accurate, meaningful or fit for a purpose.

Chart accuracy depends on the birth time you give. An approximate or unknown time changes the ascendant and the house framework, and we mark charts accordingly rather than hiding it.

Your account

You need a Google account to sign in. You must be 18 or older. One account is for one person; do not share your sign-in. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Enter birth details only for yourself, or for someone who has agreed to it. Do not enter another person's birth details without their consent.

Free use and subscription

An account includes one chart, its full birth reading, and two questions at no cost. Further charts and further questions require an active subscription at ₹199/month, billed monthly through Razorpay until cancelled.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute or publish readings as if they were your own product;
• scrape the service, or automate access to it;
• attempt to bypass the free-use limits, the payment flow, or the refusal boundaries;
• submit another person's birth details without their consent;
• use the service to harass anyone, or to make claims about a third party.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where we close an account for abuse, we will refund any unused portion of a paid period.

Your content

Your birth details and your questions remain yours. You give us permission to process them in order to run the service, which includes sending your chart data to Google's Gemini API to generate readings, as the privacy policy explains. We claim no ownership of what you write and we do not publish it.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. It depends on third parties — Google for sign-in and for generation, Razorpay for payments, OpenStreetMap for place lookup — and their outages become ours. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give notice and refund any paid period not yet used.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you take on the basis of a reading. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [CITY — to be filled in] have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when. If a change materially affects your rights we will say so on the site before it takes effect, and continued use after that means you accept the change.
